For Total Petrochemicals, workplace safety is top priority, all day every day. At all our sites, wherever they are in the world, we insist on the same high safety standards. Safety is all about the identification, assessment and prevention of risks.
Whether we are talking about people, property or processes and equipment, all aspects of safety are regularly audited and benchmarked against international standards.
Total employees at all sites, as well as contractor personnel working on site, are trained in all the necessary safety procedures and behaviour, and our constant vigilance is underpinned by awareness campaigns and opportunities to share good practices.
Safety in action
Total’s “Safety in action” program is designed to strengthen the individual and collective commitment of all employees to workplace safety via a number of site initiatives targeting the local community: discussion, joint action plans, information sessions for visitors and contractors, etc.
